Several parties in the European Parliament (EP) had come to an agreement on establishing an Êzidî Friendship Group. The official announcement of the Friendship Group was made today, on October 12. Recently the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe awarded the 2016 Vaclav Havel Human Rights Prize to Yazidi activist Nadia Murad.
